KUALA LUMPUR, (Bernama) - It was a goal feast at the Hang Tuah Stadium in Melaka tonight as the Armed Forces thrashed Negeri Sembilan Betaria 7-0 in their Super League match.

The victory propelled the soldiers to the top position in the league, sharing 29 points with Pahang, but emerged top due to their superior goal advantage.

The Armed Forces' import player Marlon Alex James emerged the hero, scoring a hattrick in the 19th, 56th and 79th minutes. The other four goals were scored by Fitri Omar (30th), Venice Elphi (53rd), Bruno Marteloto (74th) and Rezal Zambry (88th).

The score was equally impressive at the Pasir Gudang Municipal Council Stadium, with Pahang's 5-0 victory over Majlis Bandaraya Johor Baharu (MBJB).

Mohd Fauzi Roslan scored a hattrick for Pahang in 51st, 57th and 89th minutes while the other two goals came from Abdul Malik Arif in the 26th and 47th minutes.

Sime Darby remained in third place with 27 points after beating Harimau Muda B 3-0 at the Petaling Jaya City Council Stadium in Kelana Jaya.

Patrick Ronaldinho found the net in the 46th and 74th minutes while the other goal came from Zamri Hassan in the 90th minute.

Elsewhere, Perlis beat MP Muar 3-0 at the Stadium Utama Negeri, Kangar, Johor beat Police 2-0 at the Tuanku Abdul Rahman Stadium in Paroi while USM FC scored a slim 1-0 victory over Pos Malaysia at the Selayang Municipal Council Stadium.
