KUALA LUMPUR, (D5) - Chan Peng Soon is looking to solidify his and Goh Liu Ying's form ahead of their debut at the 2012 Olympics in London.

The World No 8 mixed pair recently came close to clinching their third career title as a pair at the Australian Open GP Gold, but crumbled at the last hurdle to Taiwan's Chen Hung Ling-Cheng Wen Hsing.

But Peng Soon said he and Liu Ying are playing much better, proven by their brilliant semi-final feat of beating China's He Hanbin-Bao Yixin to reach the finals in Sydney.

Consistency is still an issue for the pair, and keeping cool during critical moments should be number one on their list of things to look at before London.

However, the duo is already on the right track this year, after a string of good results which include a semi-final finish at the prestigious All-England in March.
