Nur Insafi abandon boycott plan

KUALA LUMPUR, (Stadiumastro) - Penang club Nur Insafi have decided to play both legs of the Malaysia Hockey League (MHL) quarterfinals against Sapura in Kuala Lumpur.

Initially, Nur Insafi insist they will concede a walkover should the Malaysian Hockey Federation (MHF) reject their request to play one of the ties in Penang.

In a turn of events, MHF secretary Hashim Mohamed Yusof has confirmed receiving a letter from Nur Insafi coach S. Tatchana Murthy stating that they will play both ties at the Tun Razak Stadium.

The Penang-based hockey team finished fifth in the Premier Division.
