KUALA LUMPUR, (Stadiumastro) - Kelantan checked into the Malaysia Cup finals after defeating Perlis 3-1 on Saturday.

In the absence of Indra Putra Mahayuddin due to suspension, Mohd Nor Farhan stepped up to fire in three goals for the Red Warriors at the Utama Stadium.

Perlis pulled one back through Amar Rohidan, but still lost with a total aggregate of 5-1 to the Red Warriors.

The match started slowly, with both sides not looking like pushing for an early goal. However, in the 26th minute, the game changed.

Mohd Nor Farhan charged into the Perlis' goal from the right to slot the ball in for Kelantan to lead, driving the away fans into a frenzy.

Eight minutes into the second half, Nor Farhan doubled the lead and his goal tally after chipping the ball into the far post.

However, Perlis' Amar Rohidan capitalised from a mistake from the Red Warriors' defence to pull one back for the home side in the 69th minute.

As the game draw to a close, Perlis looked desperate as they seek to turn the game around.

Their worst nightmare came when Nor Farhan's brilliant run put him at a one-on-one with Perlis' keeper, whom he beat to slot in Kelantan's third and earn his hattrick in the 87th minute, sealing the finals spot for the Red Warriors and Perlis' fate at the same time.
